The site is situated on the southern side of California. The challenge is to design a landscape that will not involve major slope alteration. The landscape architect designed winding paths from the upper level of the structure down to the private garden below. Proper vegetation were utilized to help hold the soil and stabilize the structures. The theme used in the design is modern and tropical where appropriate.
